Community Memorial Foundation and Healthy Communities Foundation believe that leadership requires the capacity to turn vision into reality. That’s why we’re partnering to provide grantee board members and executive directors with training in key areas of organizational development.

Leadership Institute seminars are offered at no charge and are facilitated by nationally-recognized thought leaders; capacity is limited to three people per organization, and at least one must be a board member.

Organizations who send executive teams to the workshops will be eligible to submit a Nonprofit Capacity Building request for proposal (RFP) to engage in capacity building efforts that address one of the Institute’s four areas of organizational development: Assessment, Governance, Leadership or Culture. The foundations will award grants of up to $10,000 to 35 organizations, and funding may be used for coaching, training, consultancy, etc.
