Grants awarded through the Responsive Grants Program support and complement CMF’s Mission and Vision.
Before completing an application, it is important that you review CMF’s Policies and Guidelines, Geographic Focus (27 target communities), and Current Priorities. If you are unsure if your grant proposal meets CMF’s criteria, please call 630-654-4729 to discuss your proposal before submitting the application.
Once you have confirmed your organization is a fit with CMF, you may proceed to the online application form.
If you are applying for a technical assistance grant, under Eligibility questions, you will select yes to the question, “Are you applying for a technical assistance grant?” This will take you to Stage1 which is a brief application or “Letter of Intent.” Once you have submitted the brief application, it will be reviewed by Tom Fuechtmann, Program Officer. Once he has approved you to move to Stage 2, you will complete the full technical assistance application.
If you have never used our online system, you will be requested to setup a new account with a user name and password. Once you have an account, you can return online to complete a saved application, start a new application, check your application status, or view grant history.
