Together with the community and anchored by our vision of becoming the healthiest region in the country, Community Memorial Foundation is deeply committed to addressing the social determinants of health and investing in our community partners as they advance health equity. As such, we recognize that coming together to eliminate racial inequities is essential, and that transformation is required.
COVID-19 has exposed long-standing racial inequities in sharp relief, and now there is a national cry for solidarity. Community Memorial Foundation will not remain silent. We remain steadfast in addressing health disparities and stand in solidarity with black and brown communities. We commit to the ongoing listening, learning and humble reflection that is critical to meaningful action.
We thank our community partners for their continued efforts to ensure equitable health and human services for all of our neighbors, while also acknowledging that there is much work that is yet to be done. We remain your partners in changemaking.
