The Gift of Gratitude

Thank you for 25 Years of Partnership

To Our Treasured Community,

Thank you.

This final week of November, as our nation celebrates the gift of gratitude, Community Memorial Foundation marks 25 years of changemaking by extending our gratitude to our community partners. The Foundation was established in 1995 out of our shared vision to support health; to support wellness; and to support one another. Since our inception, we have re-invested more than $78 million dollars into our region; and while this is an impressive number, the true measure of our changemaking is in the work of our grantee partners.

Quite simply, it is a wonderful region because of you — the leaders and organizations who serve our communities each and every day, in ways that are nothing short of transformational. We invite you to take a few moments to watch our anniversary video, highlighting the 61 organizations who participated in our 2020 Leadership Institute and special anniversary grant opportunity. We know you will be as inspired as we are by their service, strength and resilience.

This partnership is at the very heart of the Foundation’s mission and our collective vision of building the healthiest region in the country. We are grateful to have been your partners for the last 25 years, and look with anticipation toward all we’ve yet to accomplish together.

With gratitude,

The Board and Staff of Community Memorial Foundation

25th Anniversary Gratitude Drive

In celebration of the Foundation’s 25th Anniversary, current grantees were invited to a socially-distanced gratitude “drive-through” on October 29th. Each partner organization received a personal thank you note from a CMF board member, along with a $500 gift to be used as a means of acknowledging their staff for their diligent service throughout this challenging time.
