Welcome, Carla Land
The Board and Staff of Community Memorial Foundation are pleased to welcome Carla Land as the Foundation’s newest Program Officer.
Carla brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic grantmaking and nonprofit leadership, along with a deep commitment to advancing health equity across the region.
Most recently serving as Program Associate at the Christopher Family Foundation, Carla led the foundation’s employment and entrepreneurship programming. Prior to that, she served as Director of Development and Communications at PCC Community Wellness Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center serving Chicago’s West Side and near west suburbs. Carla is also an active civic leader and member of Chicago Women in Philanthropy and Chicago African Americans in Philanthropy.
“We are delighted to welcome Carla to the CMF team! Carla’s experience as both a grantmaker and a nonprofit leader give her a unique understanding of the opportunities and challenges our grantee partners face,” said Foundation President and CEO Charlie Corrigan. “She brings the empathy, kindness, curiosity, and collaborative spirit that are essential to meaningful philanthropic engagement, and her insight will strengthen our work across the communities we serve.”
Please join us in welcoming Carla.
