YC2 Program Honors Young Philanthropists
In May, Foundation board and staff gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of our 60 YC2 Changemakers — students from Hinsdale Central High School, Lyons Township High School, Nazareth Academy, and Riverside Brookfield High School — who collectively awarded $30,000 in grant funding to local nonprofit organizations working to provide basic needs services within the Western Suburbs.
Congrats to the students and their families, and to the grant recipients — BEDS Plus, Bridge Communities, Hope’s Front Door, and Housing Forward! The Foundation would also like to thank our funding partners — The Burjan Family, Moira & Paul Naffah, and Corlyn & Jeff Simmons — for their generosity in supporting the program.
