OUR WORK

Building Organizational Effectiveness

Nonprofit organizations and their philanthropic partners continually examine new approaches to reach established goals and make the best use of limited capital in the face of growing need. Through the Building Organizational Effectiveness Initiative, Community Memorial Foundation provides our grantee organizations with continuous learning opportunities to facilitate effective management, sound governance and increased organizational capacity.

The Foundation recently commissioned an external evaluation of the BOE Initiative to better understand its accomplishments, areas for improvement and impact. It produced several key findings related to organizational participation and the Foundation’s investment.
